John A. Boyle’s practice encompasses a broad variety of complex litigation matters, including state and federal grand jury investigations, internal investigations, class actions, shareholder derivative suits, SEC investigations and attorney ethics proceedings. Mr. Boyle practices extensively in both state and federal court, representing both individuals and entities in a wide array of legal settings, including securities litigation, bankruptcy litigation and other commercial and contractual disputes.
Mr. Boyle clerked for the Honorable Alfred J. Lechner, U.S.D.J. (retired) of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey from 2001 to 2002. Both prior to and following his clerkship, Mr. Boyle was an associate in the litigation department of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP in New York, New York. Mr. Boyle was Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review and is the author of “Returning To Its Roots: An Examination Of The 1998 Amendments To The Entire Controversy Doctrine,” 30 Seton Hall L. Rev. 310 (1999). Mr. Boyle received the 2000-2001 Seton Hall Law Review Outstanding Member Scholarship Award, which is awarded for the best student article. Mr. Boyle was captain of the Fairfield University Rugby Club in 1994 and 1995.
