John Tortorella’s practice encompasses a broad variety of complex litigation matters, including state and federal grand jury investigations, internal investigations, class actions, shareholder derivative suits and SEC investigations.
Mr. Tortorella clerked for Associate Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr., then on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, from 1999 to 2000. Thereafter, from 2000 to 2003, Mr. Tortorella was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, LLP. Mr. Tortorella was Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review and is co-author, with Lewis D. Lowenfels, of "Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Securities Fraud," published in Investing Under Fire: Winning Strategies From The Masters For Bulls, Bears And The Bewildered, (Alan R. Ackerman, Ed., 2003).
